What's eSports all about? In EUSD, it's more than just gaming! Our eSports enrichment program is growing strong after making its debut in the fall as part of our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program. eSports has students exercising their critical thinking skills, engaging in career exploration, learning to collaborate, and more. San Diego County Teacher of the Year: We are thrilled to share the very exciting news that EUSD is home to one of the five new county Teachers of the Year! Please join me in congratulating Wendy Threatt, a 4th-grade teacher at our very own Felicita Elementary School. Mrs. Threatt joined this elite group of educators during a ceremony on August 25 to announce the 2023-2024 San Diego County Teachers of the Year, a program launched more than 30 years ago by the San Diego County Office of Education and Cox Communications to recognize the work of public school teachers.

Our "Felicita Girls on the Run" Team celebrated the end of their season with a 5k Run at Mission Bay on Sunday morning. We are very proud of our students and all of the people who supported them in their venture. "The Finish Line is Just the Beginning" is their motto. Go Team!
